2017 Inspection by Care Inspectorate

All care services in Scotland are registered with the Care Inspectorate. The Care Inspectorate (CI) inspect services, award grades and detail improvements that must be made. Inspections are made without prior warning to ensure the CI gains a sense of the day to day performance of the service. After an inspection the CI produces a report which is available on the CI website

Grades are on a scale from 1 to 6, where 1 is unsatisfactory and 6 is excellent.
We were assessed on 3 themes as follows:

Quality of care and support              5       very good
Quality of staffing                             5       very good
Quality of management and staffing   not assessed

A full copy of the report is available at this link.

Our aim is to continue to provide a high quality service to both carers and cared for.  We acknowledge that good care and support is made possible by the efforts of our professional caring staff who so often do that extra bit that makes all the difference.
